Looking at this website and also looking at Tancer's book, they both show how as users of the internet we gain so much from we war looking. Just like Tancer being a researcher, this website offers a lot of insightful information that we as users can be able to use as research, such as, Energy, which is what is being conveyed throughout the site. With these students having this website, they are creating and using a site that is helpful to many people out there in the world that are interested in what they are publishing.
One thing that caught my attention about this site is how Power of Energy is the main focus. I have never been one to be too focused on energy other than knowing to cut off the lights and everything at home so the electricity bill wont get too high. The guest editorial, "The energy challenge: act today, shape tomorrow," by Jacob Stevens Corvidale was interesting because as he mentioned how energy issues are a part of our daily troubled issues whether its high electricity bills or black outs and it took me back to my remembrance when the university had a black out at the beginning of the school year. My guess would be either the school needs to be upgraded or there is just too much energy being used.
But going back to Tancer & how all this relates to each other, in his book, he talks about our search engine habits and I believe that this site could be helpful for someone if they type in their search engine, "Energy Challenge" or "The Preservation of Energy"
